About the Owner: Early in her life, Carol lived in South America, where her parents served as missionaries. During her school and college years, she grew up in Springfield, Missouri. She was very creative with crafts, including flower arrangements and tole painting. She often used her talents to cut hair for her college friends, and from there she discovered and developed her passion for hair design.

In the early Nineties, she was a sales representative for Nexxus Products with a huge territory based out of Lodi and covering much of the San Joaquin and Sacramento area. She graduated from Woodruff Cosmetology School and worked as a hairdresser under the name Carol’s Hair Design before opening her present salon in downtown Galt on June 2, 2003.
